CLIENT AUTHORITY

As our usual method of communication is via email rather than post or fax, please acknowledge that you agree that by participating in electronic communications with us, that you are consenting to the provision of information electronically, pursuant to s11 of the Electronic Transactions (Queensland) Act 2001. We note that it is your responsibility to ensure that we have the correct email address for you and to advise us of any changes to your email address, and also to notify us if you would prefer an alternative contact method.

I Authorise Communication via Email

Following the completion of this matter, we will retian a copy of your file for 7 years (or such longer period as may be required by legisaltion). We may elect to retain such copy in electronic rather than hard copy form. You may obtain your file, or a copy of your file, at any time upon payment of a fee of $75.00 (inclusive of GST) to cover administration expenses and subject to you having paid all outstanding accounts to us on this and any other files. You also authorise us to destroy your file after 7 years.

You acknowledge that you authorise the Firm to pay to itself from funds held in Trust for your matter or matters to the Firm's General Trading Account, funds to pay the Firm's unpaid Tax Invoices within 7 days of the Firm delivering the invoice to you.
