Applications for a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration are now being processed electronically by the Supreme Court of Queensland. Whilst this will ultimately streamline the Probate process to make it more efficient, there are currently delays in the approval of Applications by the Court whilst the system changes from paper-based to electronic. All Applications filed from November 2024 may be impacted by the delays. If your Grant has not been approved and an urgency arises, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assess the suitability of your matter for a special request to have your Application expedited on basis of urgency.
