The most common reasons why Wills are challenged are for:
• Testamentary Capacity – the will-maker suffers from conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer’s or Motor Neurone Disease, for example;
• Lack of knowledge or approval – the will-maker did not know or approve of everything they were signing;
• Under influence – coercion by a house-keeper or relative living with the deceased.
If you would like to discuss this or any other issue for obtaining Probate, challenging Wills or making a financial claim, please make an appointment to see Philip or Amanda at our office.
